Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN GRAY CAMPBELL (nee GOODWIN) On June 24, 2014 Jean passed away at the age of 96 years. Jean is survived by sons Peter and Ian, daughter Amy, grandson Christopher. Jean was born in Toronto on March 14, 1918, to the late William and Amethyst (Amy) Elizabeth Goodwin (née Scougall), émigrés from Scotland. She was educated at St. Clement's School and Trinity College, University of Toronto. Jean was married in 1943 to the late A. G. Campbell. She was a life-long active member of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Thanks to Joyce, Jennifer and the staff in the Intensive Care Unit at VGH for their gracious care during Jean's brief stay in hospital. A Memorial Service and reception will be held on Thursday, July 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Kildonan Community Church (Presbyterian), 2373 Main Street, followed by interment of ashes in Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery. Dear Family of Jean, I will always have very fond memories of Jean, she was a very sweet person and always a pleasure to talk to on Sundays. Amy, Peter, and Ian, Your Mom never forgot the important events in her many friends' lives. There were always birthday, anniversary and Christmas wishes plus notes throughout the year to relate the latest happenings and family news. I was honoured to be one of those friends.
