ABRAHAM DERKSEN October 24, 1929 June 28, 2014 Peacefully Abraham passed away on June 28, 2014 at the Morris Hospital at the age of 84 years. He is survived by three daughters: Kathy, Darlene (Roland), Dianne (Joseph); two sons: Bob (Rose), Brian (Kathy); grandchildren: Amanda (Tim), Aaron, Bobby, Jacob; great- granddaughter: Piper Rose. He is predeceased by his wife Rosemary and one son Bill. Dad was a truck driver most of his life. He loved going up and down the road, sometimes for weeks at a time, to provide for his family. He received many Safe Driver Awards during his career. He also loved to travel with his wife, Rose to many exotic destinations. He will truly be missed by all. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the Morris Fellowship Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will take place at Morris Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 2, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the funeral. Interment will take place in the Morris Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the Morris Hospital for their amazing care and compassion with our dear Dad.
