JEFFREY ALLAN WILLIAM PRONISHEN It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must announce the peaceful, unexpected passing of our dear son Jeff in his sleep at home, on Friday June 27, 2014 at the age of 19 years. Jeff is deeply missed by his parents Donna and Grant, grandparents Veronica and Allan (Baba and Al) and special friend Kristin and family; close cousins Angie and Ryan; special dog and second soul mate Becky; aunts and uncles Barb (Eugen), Phil (Marsha), Darryl (Pat) and great-aunt and uncles, Pat (Harry), Greg (Monika), Ross, and many family and close friends. A Remembrance of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at Covenant Christian Reform Church, 653 Knowles Avenue (near Gateway Road) Winnipeg. All are welcome and invited to come and share your fondest memories of Jeff touching your life. A private interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers Jeff would have wanted a donation made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or CancerCare Manitoba. • Dear Grant, Donna & family, Words cannot express the deep sympathy we feel over the shocking loss of your precious son Jeffrey. We have fond memories of him playing together with Jerrol & Jenna in the days leading up to Dave & Leanne's wedding and always enjoyed reading what he was up to in your annual Christmas letters. He was an adorable, spunky boy who appears to have stolen the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers as you grieve his loss. All our love, Darren, Christine, Jerrol & Jenna Pronishen - Posted by: Darren, Christine, Jerrol & Jenna Pronishen (First Cousin to Grant) on: Jul 08, 2014

  • I didn't know Jeffrey but wish I had. My son Michael speaks so well of Jeffrey recalling how supportive and kind he was to him and others. Michael says that while he Jeffrey were not the closest or best of friends Jeffrey always made him feel welcome. Michael is very moved by Jeffrey's passing but feels a great sense of peace having known him. While I can't feel your pain I can imagine it and I feel so inadequate in offering you both my sincerest and deepest sympathies. - Posted by: Gary Walker (Father of a friend of Jeffery's) on: Jul 07, 2014

  • Dear Grant and Donna There is never any words that will make it better, Jeff will be forever missed but never forgotten. Jeff was a best friend to Ash, and now he is with great sadness with Ashley and I know they will look after each other. Always remember he will be looking after you too but just in a different way now. We will never understand why our children were taken way to soon. But we will see them someday and they will be waiting for us with open arms. We are so sorry Grant and Donna but always remember we are here for you guys. Your neighbors and friends always Love You Nicole, Graham, Madison, forever and always Ashley Schlag XOXO - Posted by: Nicole , Graham , Madison, and forever missed Ashley Schlag (Neighbors, good friends) on: Jul 07, 2014

  • Donna and Grant, there are no words to give you at this very sad time. Just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you both. Jeffrey will always be in my memories as such a sweet boy with a winning smile. He would walk up the driveway to see Connor and all the boys thought it was cool to wear their pants hanging down to their knees! I would say "hey Jeff, your losing your drawers, pull them up!" He would proceed to yank them up and flash me the most beautiful smile. He was always willing to help, pulling out our trailer from the back as our vehicle couldn't. Jeffrey has touched so many lives and I pray that your love and your memories give you the strength to get through this very difficult time. My boys Anthony and Connor have lost a close, wonderful friend. They now have an angel. With very, very heavy hearts we wish to offer you both our deepest sympathies. Please know you are in our thoughts. All our love to you. Connor and Anthony Young and Patti Brown - Posted by: Patricia brown (Friend) on: Jul 05, 2014
