EDMEE MARIE PIERSON (née NAULT) It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend, Edmeé Marie Pierson (née Nault) on July 7, 2014. Edmeé was predeceased by her husband, Felix, the love of her life, her parents, Amedeé and Maria Nault, her sisters Marie and Lynn. She will be greatly missed by her children: Wayne (Laraine), Glen (Maureen), Mona (Rick), Diane, and Joy (Ken); grandchildren: Carla (Dwayne), Chris (Cindy), Tammy, Kyla, Chad (Desiree), Shayne (Amanda), Derek (Emily), Jason (Jessica), and Matthew (Leah); great-grandchildren: Dustin, Jaydon, Rhys, Taylor, Jordyn, Parker, Micah, Cashius, Grayson, Jaselyn, and Emmalyn; siblings: Doris (Augie), Marius (Patricia), Laura (Louis), Jeannine, and Richard (Barb); many nieces and nephews; Pat, Les and adopted godson Mathew; special nieces, Shirlee and Donna; long time friends, Gladys and Terry Stubbs; godson Lee Stubbs and his family; long time best friends, Virginia Rentz, Marion Moore, and Isabelle Lacoste, who was like a sister; church friends of many years. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of 3 East Palliative Care at Riverview Health Centre for the care and compassion given to Mom and our family during her stay there. In keeping with Edmeé's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Riverview Health Centre, One Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU & CO. In keeping with Edmeé's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald Street.   • To her family, my deepest condolences. To me, she was a beloved aunt and family historian. She helped me to know my father's family. Aunty gave us the smallest (at times) to the most significant details of the Pierson clan. Her humour, great style and "joie de vivre" made our times together fun. I loved the suppers at a restaurant (and once she hosted it at her home) that she and my sister Donna organized. These events brought the cousins together, sharing our lives: past, present. We laughed, we cried and we bonded. To her children and family. You are blessed to have such a mother / grandmother / great-grandmother.   • I am so very sad to hear of her passing. Your mother was very kind to me when I was a child. I remember that she made a dress for me for a Junior High school dance and it was very special. I never forgot that kindness. I enjoyed getting together with the two of you for dinner last year. My thoughts are with your entire family Diane.   • Aunt Edmee was a loving person, and always had an excellent sense of humor. She was the one that helped bring our families together after many years of separation. She will be missed by many. I am so very sorry Our Pierson Family From Alberta is unable to attend her funeral.
