Mary was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Steven, parents Steve and Ksenia Repushka, sister Anne Baron, and brothers Peter and Daniel. Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Mary always had a joke to tell, a lifestory to share, and a smile for everyone. She appreciated hard work and it didn't matter to her what you did, as long as you did your best. She was always proud of her children and grandchildren. Thank you, Wendy, for a bringing her around to us every spring. We already miss her so much. - Posted by: The Salad Bowl Greenhouses (Customer, neighbour, friend) on: Jul 19, 2014

  • Dear Mike, Please accept my sincere condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. - Posted by: Stan Siu (Mike's City of Winnipeg Co-worker) on: Jul 17, 2014

  • Dear Aunty Mary - I'm so sorry that we hadn't seen each other in a long time, however we spoke on the phone just before last Christmas and you told me how much you missed Uncle Steve and it made me sad. I told you how I would say to my dad "if you don't behave I'm going to call Aunty Mary and tell on you"! And sometimes I would call him "Peter" just to mess with him! We also shared some funny and memorable stories of when dad would drive us out in the summer to Winnipeg and we loved being on the farm and earning $2.00 for pulling onions. I actually got $4.00 and thought I was rich that summer! Then there was the time that you showed me how to pluck a chicken - you didn't laugh at the time but when we talked about it last December you laughed so much then. So many wonderful memories with you and Aunty Anne, and of course my cousins too. I would have loved to have come to see you after my Dad passed but things just kept happening that wouldn't allow me to make the trip. I look at your picture and I see my Dad there and my eyes fill up with tears. You are now reunited with your beloved Steve and your brothers and sisters. God Bless you Aunty Mary. • Mary Wiggins was close with my parents, John & Mary Krawchuk of Beausejour. As a young child, I remember visiting at their large house at Birds Hill. Mary was always welcoming and happy to see us coming over. Steve and Mary were part an important part of my Father's family. Condolences to her children and grandkids. She was blessed with a long life and a good one with Steve. Heaven will now have a good Ukrainian garden and a great cook as well. - Posted by: Kathy Fecio (Cousin) on: Jul 16, 2014
