LENA DERKACH Peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 Lena Derkach went to be with the Lord at the age of 97. Lena was predeceased by her husband Steve and is survived by son Ned (Yvonne), daughter Marianne, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one sister Rose Gerelus. Prayers will be said on Friday, July 18 at 7:00 p.m. with Rosary commencing at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Avenue. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, July 19, at 10:00 a.m. also at the church officiated by Fr. Darren Kawiuk. Interment to follow at Thomson "In the Park", 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an orphanage in the Ukraine at Bridge of Hope, 9645 108 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5H 1A3.
