MOLLY ANN BATRYN-PAQUIN (nee BEATON) Molly Ann Paquin, aged 74 of Winnipeg, passed away suddenly at home with her daughter by her side on Sunday, July 20, 2014. Molly will be sadly missed and always remembered by her daughter Debbie; grandchildren Cheryl (Mike), Adam, Michael (Christelle), William and Taylor; great-grandchildren Cadence, Caleb, Leeland and Isabella; sisters Lorraine and Sandi; brothers Malcolm and Clay; as well as several nieces and nephews. Molly was predeceased by her husband Kirk; parents James and Daisy; brothers Ken and Jerry; and sisters Darlene and Dorothy. Molly started working at the St. Regis Hotel in 1987 where she made many friends. When she retired in 2006, she spent her time taking care of her flower and vegetable gardens, reading and watching her favourite TV shows. She also loved to bake and share the goodies with her family and neighbours. She very much enjoyed the time spent with her family and best friends Ethel and Brian, Mary and Marcel and Corrine. She had a special friendship with Bill, who has been a big help to her in recent times. They have always been there for each other and have remained close over the years. As per Molly's wishes, cremation will take place and a private gathering for family and close friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Quagga Stray Cat Rescue, 970 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg, MB R2M 3R8.
