Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • My heart dropped hearing of Linda's passing. I remember the first time I met her through Ron Sarka many, many moons ago. Like Fred Madigan wrote, "a dear friend from half a lifetime ago". I've been thinking of the many fun "Get Togethers". I remember coming in from Kelowna and Linda coming out with Debbie and Melanie to see me at the Folk Festival. What a lovely surprise that was for me. I also got the chance to visit with her in the hospital a month ago while in Winnipeg. Thank-you so much Janice for taking me. My deepest condolences to her family. I send loving thoughts of sympathy and support to you as you begin your journey without her. I wish you peace in the comfort of knowing she is no longer in pain, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. To all of us who loved her... Let yourself cry knowing each tear is a note rising to the heavens, and when you cherish your memories of her, may every sunrise hold more promise and every moonrise hold more peace. Linda, you will be forever missed. - Posted by: Joanne McCarthy (Friend) on: Aug 20, 2014
