Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA (MARY) PENNER Peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, Mary Penner, aged 88 years of Winnipeg passed away at the Victoria General Hospital. She is survived by her half brother John Kroeker, half sisters-in-law Ruth and Hilda Kroeker, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Henry F. and Maria (Hildebrand) Penner Kroeker, her stepfather John G. Kroeker, her sister Anne Hoeppner, brother-in-law Henry Hoeppner, half brothers Abe and Peter Kroeker, and half sister-in-law Shirley Kroeker. A memorial service in celebration of Mary's life will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at Bethel Place (445 Stafford Street, Winnipeg). A private family interment will take place at the Altona Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Dr. Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9. I had the privilege of working some shifts with Mary when we both worked at Concordia hospital in Labor & Delivery.
