I remember the days when a group of us Brent, Curtis, my neighbor Krystal, myself and friend Patrick would get together in the summer evenings and watch the guys skateboard and bmx bike at our local Esso gas station. Curtis had no fear and was always testing out new tricks on his skateboard. Although I haven't seen him in many years he was considered a dear friend . Curtis had a love for music and quite frequently would jam on his guitar. see you on the other side one day my friend you are in my thoughts and prayers - Posted by: ann k (neighborhood friend) on: Aug 08, 2014

I lived on the same street as Curtis and spent many a night and day riding bikes and having sleepovers. Curtis was the kid who always had a smile on his face. Even though we sadly lost touch over the years, I always considered him a friend. RIP Curtis, you will be missed - Posted by: Chris Debets (neighbors) on: Aug 07, 2014

Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of Curtis's passing. I remember him as a little boy and I would take him and my daughter, Lisa, to nursery school every week. Kathy and I used to spend a lot of time together and Curtis was always over visiting. The same comment has come from all of my friends, "He was such a sweet little boy". I pray to God that he is in a happy place with Pete & Kathy. God Bless you all. - Posted by: Pat Shymko & Family (Friend ) on: Aug 07, 2014

I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear about Curtis. By chance I had met him and his brother Chris walking near Lake Winnipeg a weekend or so ago. I hadn't known Curtis too well but he was the friendliest person you ever could meet and you could tell a really great, genuine person. My deepest condolences to all. - Posted by: Mark Kolaski (Friend and former school mater) on: Aug 07, 2014
