MABEL MARJORIE TULLY October 29, 1934 On Monday, August 18, 2014, at the age of 79, Mabel Tully passed away at the Concordia Hospital. Mabel was predeceased by her parents Art and Jean Tully, and her sister Marlene Thomas. Mabel will be greatly missed by her sisters Evelyn Sherdahl (Dennis) and Sheila Daly, brother-in-law Eldon Thomas, and many nieces and nephews. Mabel was born in Winnipeg and raised in Marquette on the family farm until 1949, when her family moved to Poplar Point. After finishing school, she moved to Winnipeg to work at Health Supply Center, General Stationery and Good Will Industries, and finally retiring in 1999. Mabel loved "hair night", sharing a cup of tea with family and friends, a good telephone conversation, the bag pipes, Rita MacNeil music, any curling game, and her flower garden. She was always thrilled to see her grandnieces and nephews. At Mabel's wishes, a private family service will be held at Oakville Cemetery.
