GABRIELLE ELISA JEANSON Peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2014, Gabrielle Elisa Jeanson passed away at Actionmarguerite-Foyer Valade at the age of 100 years. She was born on February 20, 1914 in Lorette, MB and was the eldest daughter of Joseph Jeanson and Marie-Anne Grégoire. Predeceased by her parents, sisters Paule, Thérèse Boisvert, Marie-Josèphe Greenaway, Jeanne d'Arc and brother Grégoire, she is survived by Madeleine (Rudolph Ricci) from California, Fabiola from California and sister-in-law Florence Jeanson (née Rochon), many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to all those who have helped her with her needs in her later years when she couldn't anymore. Special thanks to all nurses and care givers at Misericordia Hospital-Nursing Home, Foyer Valade, also much gratitude to the Chaplain and to Dr. François. Gabrielle had many successful careers and will be remembered for her many acts of charity. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Parish in Lorette, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice or to Actionmarguerite-Foyer Valade, 450 River Road, Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4.
