Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE KALYNIUK November 16, 1916- August 24, 2014 It is with deep sadness we say good-bye to our mother and grandmother, Katherine Kalyniuk (nee Wasnick). She passed away at age 97 at St. Joseph's Residence on Sunday, August 24, 2014. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Hnat; brothers, Peter, John and Don Wasnick; sisters, Mary Dilay and Nettie Leforte. She will be dearly missed by daughter, Jean Small; son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Mary Kalyniuk; sisters, Anne Balasko and Sophie Cuddihey; sister-in-law Olga (Protodeacon Michael) Woroby; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Karl Von Engelbrechten, Geoffrey and Nicole Kalyniuk, Jim Small, Chat Small, Kristen and Craig Taylor and Patrick Small; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 29 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The family thanks the staff and doctors at St. Joseph's Residence and Seven Oaks Hospital for the care they provided to Katherine. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193
