HELDER SERPA On Saturday, August 23, 2014 Helder Serpa of Winnipeg, MB, beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed away at the age of 57 years. In accordance with the family's wishes cremation has taken place. Prayers will be said on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 30 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4588 Roblin Blvd. with interment in Holy Family Cemetery. 204-586-8044

HELDER SERPA On Saturday, August 23, 2014 Helder Serpa of Winnipeg, MB, beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed away at the age of 57 years. Helder is survived by his mother Eulalia; stepfather Carlos; brother Humberto (Beth) and brother Jose; sister Tina (Keith); nieces and nephews, Karla (Kurt), Scott (Diana), Emily and Joseph; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends here as well as in Portugal. Helder now joins his father, grandparents and several aunts and uncles who have passed before him. The family would like to thank the following people, Msgr. Comeault, Gloria Vicente, Antonio Jose, and friends and members of the Sporting Club. In accordance with the family's wishes cremation has taken place. sorry for your loss, our deepest sympathy. You will be in our prayers and our hearts.... my brothers and I knew Helder and his brothers back in Ponta Delgada and we are still friends here. Helder was a good man. Whenever I saw him we talked about S.Miguel....also I loved to bug him about Porto. He used to say don't worry...... Helder May you RIP you will never be forgotten.
