Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAZEL MINA FRAZER (nee MORGAN) October 19, 1930 - August 26, 2014 Hazel passed away peacefully on August 26, 2014 at the Grace Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Frances Crowston and Shirley Wimble, and her extended family. She was predeceased by her sister Doris Keeping. Hazel was born in Winnipeg on October 19, 1930 to parents Godfrey and Mabel Morgan. She grew up in St. Vital and attended Glenwood School and Glenlawn High School. "Little ting" was the quiet, gentle one of four sisters. As a child, Hazel enjoyed many sports, but she especially loved to figure skate and was able to do a good twirl. She grew up in a house filled with music. Hazel spent her later years at Malvern House where she had many friends. We are thankful for the loving care of Elena and her staff there. In spite of her challenges, Hazel always had a smile and enjoyed a good laugh with everyone. A memorial service for Hazel will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. A special thank you to the staff at Grace Hospital for their compassion and care. Sisters are different flowers from the same garden. We were sad to hear of Hazel's passing. We always enjoyed our visits with Aunt Hazel on our trips to Winnipeg in the summer. Hazel enjoyed the family get togethers around the pool on Tahoe Bay and the picnics at Grand Beach. Rest in Peace Aunt Hazel. - Posted by: Ron, Coleen and Jeremy Batt (Nephew) on: Aug 31, 2014

I remember Hazel just the way she was described, a quiet, gentle spirit who always had a smile for you and always asked you how you were. And the best part was that she never changed who she was. I hadn't seen Hazel in over 35 years and it wasn't until her death that I realized what a beautiful gem we had in our family. I only wish that I could have appreciated her more. Thanks Hazel for making me realize how priceless you were; if only I knew that sooner. - Posted by: Claudia Hueging (My Dad's cousin) on: Aug 31, 2014
