Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • I cannot believe that he is gone. Jonah I thank you for being an awesome friend. Although we only grew up together before we grew apart, you are an awesome friend. I remember you always coming to play with all of us when we were all about 8. Although I cannot say much, I do know that you are going to be missed fiercely. I am praying for strength for your family at this devastating time. This is not a good bye, Jonah. This is a see you later. No more suffering. No more tears. Till we meet again Jonah. - Posted by: Jasmine Villanueva (Childhood friend ) on: Sep 07, 2014

  • Met Jonah through trying out for the basketball team and volleyball team in Junior High, and over the years we hung out and played ball. We were never too close, but nonetheless friends. My only regret is not being able to say goodbye, but overall I hope you are at peace now brotha. - Posted by: Miguel Palma (Friend) on: Sep 05, 2014

  • First time I met Jonah was in grade 10 at Tec Voc. Not only was he a great classmate and teammate, but an all around good guy. It's saddening that such a young life was taken so suddenly. Deepest condolences to Jonah's loved ones and may he Rest in Peace. - Posted by: Angelo Herrera (Friend) on: Sep 05, 2014

  • Honestly I still can't believe it. This all still feels too unreal. I know we aren't blood related or anything But to me you were already part of our family. You were at every family party, even more than I was. I was never surprised to see you at my cousins house playing with Seb. Honestly I think he liked you more than me and he's my own godson. But thank you Jonah for being a part of my life and thank you for making my cousin the happiest girl in the whole wide world. All she ever did was talk about you. But don't worry everyone here will take care of your girl. But in reality you were taken away from us too early and it hurts. Everyone misses you greatly, but you're in a better place now. Rest easy Jonah. And don't worry I'll never forget that you're the reason why I can do a backflip on a trampoline. Till we meet again allstar. - Posted by: Sharmaine Sancho (family ) on: Sep 05, 2014

  • It seemes just yesterday we were laughing at whatever stupid thing we might've been talking about. I'll miss those text messages where you'd ask me if I wanted to buy some of your mom's primo smoked fish lol. I can't forget about our plan to hit up that lake up north your tatay and dad used to fish. I'll make that trip up there one day for you bro..rest easy homie. I'll be praying for your family and Paula. Your life has been a blessing to all of us. I thank God for your life bro. - Posted by: Mark herrera (Friend) on: Sep 04, 2014

  • So sad to see such an amazing person go, so young. Jonah was quiet but always had a smile on his face. Everyone knew him as a legend to basketball at Tec Voc and he was a true leader on and off the court. He will be greatly missed, everyone is hurting but may he rest in peace. - Posted by: Sharina Gregorio (Friend) on: Sep 04, 2014

  • Extending deep and heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. - Posted by: Wendy, Gary, Mitchell and Mason Wasylnuk (Mitchell's (School Friend)) on: Sep 04, 2014
