Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILY GRAHAM REID It is with deep sadness that we announce Lily Graham Reid (nee Lily Graham Arbuckle) peacefully passed away following a brief illness at Charleswood Care Centre, with her husband Harold by her side, on August 29, 2014 at the age of 90. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Jeannie, her niece Angela, and her nephews Ian, Gregor, Alistair, Bruce and David. She was predeceased by her brother James, her sisters Mary and Jessie, her mother Elizabeth, and her father Thomas. Lily immigrated to Canada in 1957. She enjoyed travelling and toured many parts of Canada, US and overseas to the Mediterranean and to visit her homeland of Scotland. Her many pastimes included gardening and lawn bowling. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. My heart is filled with many childhood memories. On holidays my father would pack us in the car and drive up to Scotland. We inevitably stayed with Aunty Lily and Uncle Harry. Aunty Lily was always welcoming and kind. Throughout her life she was not only kind but thoughtful, generous, meticulous and hardworking. She had a beautiful smile and gentle ways.
