He was born on December 29, 1917 at Camper, Manitoba. Fredrick was predeceased by his wife Lucy. He is survived by his daughter Gail (Jake) Krahn of Winnipeg; sons Clifford (Audrey) of Winnipeg and Richard (Glenda) of Calgary; grandchildren Shelley (Gerry) Marion, Jim (Sandy) Krahn, Jeff (Melissa) Schmidt and Mark Schmidt; great-grandchildren Justin, Jake and Sophie. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, Brandon on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at the Brandon Cemetery.
