Well, how do you like that, it has taken me two years to find this notice about Wendy - although I did know when she passed away. I met Wendy along with her sisters first at a Barker Family Picnic in the summer of 1971. She was a happy fun little girl and even though I came to know her better over the years that image of a little blonde girl in her summer swim suit laughing and running and playing stuck in my mind through the years. So sorry that the joyousness that was Wendy is no longer here with us on the earth -- perhaps we shall meet again in Heaven. - Posted by: Susan Barker (Chris Barker) (aunt and uncle) on: May 26, 2016

The last of 6 nieces for us Uncles at 520 Greenacre Blvd, I kind of remember Wendy as a smaller version of her mom (kind sweet gentle) but by the time she was 7 years old, both Chris and I had married and started our grown up lives (the oldest uncle 'Jack' had married and moved on in the early sixties). We know she had the support of her mom and all her big sisters! While her adult life wasn't easy, she is at peace now without the stress of living with a debilitating disease. Our condolences to Sarah and the Borushynski sisters. - Gerry & Brenda of Calgary - Posted by: Gerry Barker (Uncle (her mother's youngest brother)) on: Sep 06, 2014
