JODIE DAWN STEWART
Born: Feb 25, 1980
Date of Passing: Sep 02, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJODIE DAWN STEWART February 25, 1980 September 2, 2014 It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt and niece, Jodie Dawn Stewart on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the age of 34 years. Left to cherish her memory; parents Ro-Jean Anstett and Don (Barb) Stewart; sister Tammy (Kelly), nephew Brady and niece Brooklyn; grandparents Margaret Anstett and Chester and Dorothy Stewart; uncles; Dave (Carol) and family, Mike (Tammy) and family, Terry and Glen (Carmen) and family; stepbrothers, Scott (Marcella) and family, Tori (Nicole) and family; Godparents, Ron and Linda Ramsey and family and many friends. She was predeceased by her grandfather Jim Anstett. Jodie was born in Morris, MB. She lived her early years in Dominion City. She enjoyed figure skating, swimming, having fun at school and playing in the tree house in the back yard. Jodie was always surrounded by such wonderful childhood friends. She continued with her figure skating for a short period of time after moving to Winnipeg. Jodie soon discovered other sports and excelled in track and soccer. Through her sports she made many wonderful and lasting friends over the years. Jodie's niece Brooklyn and nephew Brady were such a light in Jodie's life. No matter where Jodie was she would text to see how Brady did at hockey and how her Brookie was. Many of Jodie's special moments were spending time with all her grandparents. Jodie's passion was flying. Sky service was her first call to duty in the skies which eventually led to a fulfilling career with WestJet. Jodie loved her work. She was always chatting about her fabulous destinations and the great people she met on her flights. Jodie was excited when she actually knew a passenger who was flying on her plane. She couldn't wait to tell her family of her experiences. Jodie blossomed with confident and self-esteem when she was in the air. The only drawback to flying was the time spent away from family. Family was very important to her. "Jodie's beautiful smile will now light up heaven." A private family service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Jodie's memory to Dominion City Rec., or Roseau Crossing Heritage Park, c/o Tammy Gregoire Box 192, Dominion City, MB R0A 0H0.
