PAULINE KUNDEUS (nee KITLARCHUK) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, Pauline Kundeus on Monday, September 15, 2014. Mom was born April 29, 1930 in Mossy River, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter; sons, Richard and John. Left to cherish Pauline's memory are her children, Paul Kundeus, Cathy Normand (Dave), Linda Lent (Vaughan), Patty Johnson (Kevin); grandchildren, Melanie, Bonny, Shane, Branden, Krystal, Mandy, Cory, Peter and Katelyn; great-grandchildren, Travis, Brianna, Taylor, Tyler and Landon; sister, Ann and brother, Raymond. Pauline was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as sister and friend. She lived for her children. After her husband Peter passed away in 1972, she took care of all her children and grandchildren and worked very hard for them. Pauline was employed with Progress Candy Factory for many years until her retirement. Mom would always have special dinners for everyone to get together, such as Christmas and Easter. This is when we would all play shuffleboard with her in her garage. Of course Mom was a pro, and won every time. Pauline had a few birds over time which she loved. She was a kind, thoughtful, caring, loving and considerate person, always putting others before herself. We all loved her and she will be deeply missed. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 24 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline's memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193

  • Karl and I, along with the rest of the family, send our deepest sympathies. Our thoughts are with all of you. I will always remember the great times we had when our two families would get together. Your Mom's doors were always open and there was plenty of good food. I remember the polka songs and my mom and your mom dancing up a storm. I would like to think they are somewhere "doing the polka" again. Sorry we are unable to be there in body, but we are there in spirit. - Posted by: Cindy Archibald (Niece) on: Sep 24, 2014
