AUDREY SIMKO After a lengthy illness, my mom lost her battle to reach the 100 mark. So now, it is with the deepest regret and heavy heart that I must announce her passing on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Seven Oaks Hospital. She leaves behind her daughter, Barbara Ann Smith, along with our dogs, Buddy, Nicholas, Brandy and Penny. She will now meet her husband, Steve Simko, who passed July 1, 1976; mother, Barbara Ann; and her step-father, Wasyl Matychuk, along with her brother, John Matychuk (Mathers) at the Golden Gate. Viewing will be held at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, on Monday, September 22 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Graveside service will take place at Holy Family Cemetery, 4365 Main Street, W. St. Paul at 1:30 pm with Fr. I. Dziadyk, OSBM officiating. If you choose to make a donation in memory of Audrey, it can be made to LIFERAFT & All Animal Foster Foundation, a registered non-profit rescue, or Norway House Animal Rescue. Special thanks to all those that cared for my mom: VIP Homecare Services (Cori and especially Donna), all those who attended to her at the hospital, too many to name, and Mobile MDs. Also a big thank you to all those that provided other services to make my mother comfortable at home, including Genny of the Family Managed Care Program. Without you, she would have never made it home. Thank you everyone! Thank you so much to the pallbearers: Cal Pishak, Geoff Enns and John Rymon. Throughout everything and no matter what, Mom, I always loved you! KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193
