JOYCE SYLVIA SUMNER June 23, 1925 - September 29, 2014 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Joyce Sylvia Sumner of Lake St. Martin First Nation on Monday, September 29, 2014 at the age of 89 years. A wake service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 Midnight at the Raymond Flett Memorial United Church, 1493 Magnus Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, with Pastor Richard Sanderson officiating. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ashern Centennial Hall, Ashern, MB with Jim Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at the Hodgson Community Cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all those who cared for Joyce.
