Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLEN ARCHIBALD PRUDEN On October 1, 2014 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Mr. Glen Archibald (Archie) Pruden aged 84 years passed away after a brief illness. Archie was predeceased by his mother Irene Pruden; father John Pruden; sister Eileen Schindler and brother Jack Pruden. He is survived by his wife Sophie Pruden of Edmonton; two sons, Robert Pruden of Morinville, AB and Glen Pruden of Calgary, AB; one daughter Terry Dixon of Edmonton, AB; four sisters Eunice Paulson, Laverne Johnson, Joyce Plamondon and Mae Harcus all of Selkirk. Archie was born in Clandeboye, MB where he would spend much of his boyhood days wandering the dusty trails and dirt lined roads along Wavey Creek. After a lifetime of hard work and travel he would return to his humble roots and settle along Wavey Creek on a stretch of road he affectionately call "the Last Mile". Never the sort of person to sit still, Archie would spend much of his time restoring antique cars. A memorial service will take place in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Archie's memory to St. George's Anglican Church, Wakefield, MB, C/O Box 219, Clandeboye, MB, R0C 0P0.
