On behalf of my family I extend my most sincere condolences to the family of Bea Blom. I have such fond memories of Mrs. Blom. She was the best friend of my grandmother Frances Deeley Heuchert (who passed away in 1997). From the time when I was a young girl visiting West Hawk Lake to many years later when I'd visit Mrs. Blom in her home or give her a call, she was always so loving, and had a smile on her face. She had such a warm spirit. She started my love of WordSearches and taught me how to crochet while sitting in her trailer (what I called the Silver Bullet). Rest in sweet peace lovely lady. I will always fondly remember you. xo - Posted by: Lori Deeley (family friend) on: Oct 08, 2014

Was always fun to go over next door with the kids and visit Bea and chit chat about anything and everything. Happy hour was always fun too. Her baking treats were delicious. One of my favorites was the beef stuffed rolls. We will miss her dearly and will always have treasured West Hawk memories of one of the nicest, kindest ladies I had the pleasure of being associated with. - Posted by: Curt and Eunice Newman and kids (Lake Neighbor) on: Oct 04, 2014

Will always remember a great lady who, with her dear Harry participated in the many "Hootenannies" at West Hawk Trailer Village. A lady who well into her senior years was a great fan of many Manitoba sports teams. - Posted by: Ray Newman (Lake Friend) on: Oct 04, 2014
