RUTH ELEANOR WINTER August 4, 1934 - October 2, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ruth Winter on October 2, 2014 at the age of 80 years. She believed in God's kingdom and looked forward to eternal life on earth. Born Ruth Eleanor Reimer in Winnipeg, the twin of Mark Raymond Reimer, who passed away in 1977. She was also predeceased by her husband Edward Winter, father Mark Reimer, mother Helen Sigurdson, stepfather Joe Sigurdson, older brother Gordon Reimer, and stepsister Eileen Morand. She is survived by her sons Daniel Winter (Della), Jeremy David and Christopher William Winter, daughter Donna Francoeur (Norman) of Victoria, BC, three granddaughters Inga Christina Jordon, Ange Knezacek (Rob), Tara May Hamilton (Greg), great-grandsons (twins) Oscar and Lucas Knezacek, and great-granddaughters (twins) Cora and Kohl Hamilton. Her surviving siblings are Robert Reimer (Julie), Donald Reimer (Shirley), and stepsister Verna Sigurdson.
