VALENTINA BARTE DIONA November 3, 1930 - October 8, 2014 It is with great sadness to announce the peaceful passing of Valentina Barte Diona on October 8, 2014 at the age of 83 years. She was predeceased by her husband Nazario and eldest child Francisco. Left to cherish Valentina's memory are her children Tessie (Robin), Geronimo (Fely), Madz (Lolly), Dula (Tony), Ayette (Rene), Danny (Gigie), grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital (5th floor) including Dr. Sobowale, whose kindness and sincerity has made our mother's lengthy hospital stay a little easier. Thank-You to the homecare workers, without you, Inay's return to the comfort of her own residence would not have been possible. Viewing/Lamay will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 commencing at 6:00 P.M at Mosaic Funeral Chapel 1006 Nairn Ave. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 10:00 A.M at St. Peter's Catholic Church 748 Keewatin St. with Rev. Monsignor Enrique Samson Jr. officiating.
