HIPOLITO (LITO) ANICAS ALIBIN SR. January 30, 1951 - October 9, 2014 It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lito at his home in Winnipeg, MB on October 9, 2014 at age of 63. He was predeceased by his parents Eusebio and Lorenza Alibin and brother Jose of Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Lito is survived by his wife Natividad; children John (Gina), Sheila (Eduardo) Bernardo, Frank (Caroline), Hipolito Jr. (Melissa) and Arnel (Celeste); grandchildren Lauren, Emily, Jonathan, Seanna, Cecilia, Rosalie and Noah; sisters Eva, Juanita, Teresita, Josefina (Juan), Salvacion (Efren) and Felipa (Rey); brothers Eusebio (Greta) and Silvestre (Imelda); nephews and nieces and all their families. Lito had a full and happy life and was loved very much. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a father, friend, great provider, accomplished architect in the Philippines. Lito had a professional practice in the Middle East where he designed numerous palaces and building institutions. His professional experiences and recognitions enabled him to work in numerous leading architectural firms in Manitoba and Alberta as a senior architectural designer. His grandchildren were the most important part of his life. The family wants to thank all the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital Dialysis, Villa Nova Seniors Housing, and all the family and friends who showed all their love and compassion. Viewing (Lamay) will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014, commencing at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel., 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street, Winnipeg, MB. Interment to follow at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
