ROGER JOSEPH CARON Roger passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Left to cherish Roger's memory are his wife of 55 years, Lois; children Lawrence (Wendy), Ron (Karen), Sandra; grandchildren Riley, Melody, Steven, Tyler, and Rotor; family and friends. Roger was an all-around great person who enjoyed life, family, nature and his faith. His passion and expertise in carpentry extended past his regular work day into various projects with family and friends. He enjoyed the finer things in life: hockey, baseball and sweets. Roger will be sorely missed by his many friends at Tache Centre. Special thanks to the very caring staff on 4ABC Actionmarguerite Centre (Tache). Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roger's name to the Charleswood Historical Society, 5006 Roblin Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB R3R 0G7. My memories of Roger are of the consummate gentleman, kind, generous, loving, with an easy laugh and an always helping hand. My prayer is that Lois and her family will find solace knowing that Roger touched many people in different ways during his lifetime, and as long as we remember him, he will always be with us. - Posted by: Michael Perles (Brother Knight) on: Oct 15, 2014
