LINDA MCDERMID It is with great sadness that we announce, after 9 long months of fighting, Linda McDermid, has passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 58. She is survived by her father, Herb Perkin, her brothers Michael (Cindy), Randy (Gisele), Herbert (Betty) and Shawn (Bonnie), her sisters Pat (John), Cheryl (Paul) and Karen, her daughter Christine (Nathan), her grandchildren Paige, Jenna, Alleyah, Connor, Noah, Dawn (Michael) and her three great-grandchildren Hunter, Cole, and Declan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Linda liked to live her life full of fun and laughter. She made friends where ever she went and especially loved singing Karaoke and relaxing at her cabin. She loved her grandchildren and was so proud to attend their many sporting events and cheer as loud as she could, telling anyone around her who would listen "That's my grandbaby!" She was such a special lady and touched so many people's lives; she will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 21 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave.
