Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET MARTENS On the evening of Wednesday, October 15, 2014 Margaret passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 75. She was the youngest of 10 children. Left to cherish her memory are sons Allen (Sylvia) and Ed; grandchildren Melissa, Jocelyn and Terry; one great-grandchild Sadie; brother Ed (Emily), and also numerous nieces, cousins, nephews and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Elizabeth, her sons Donald and Kenneth, also five brothers and three sisters. The family would like to thank the Kildonan Personal Care Home and the Misericordia Health Associates for giving our mother excellent and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that a donation be made to the Salvation Army in Margaret's name. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, with viewing one hour prior to the service, and reception to follow. Cremation will take place subsequent to the service.
