ALLEN BERNARD WIEBE
Date of Passing: Oct 14, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALLEN BERNARD WIEBE On October 14, 2014 Heaven gained another angel when we lost Al after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend. Al leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Cheryl, who stood by his side every moment and his children Harley, Shelby and Jackson, who were the apples of his eye. Also left to mourn Al are his mother Nettie, his second parents Ray and Judy Nagy, his siblings Dianne (Rob) Friesen, Gerald (Dyanna) Wiebe, Anita (Randy) Penner, Bryan (Carlene) Wiebe and Kerri Nagy. Al will also be missed by his nieces and nephews who adored him. Words cannot describe what an amazing man Al truly was. He lived his life always caring for others and putting their needs ahead of his own. Anyone who knew him knew he could win people over with his sense of humour and charm. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. Al always told people "it is easy to love". Al had a love for the outdoors. He loved spending time with his "dad" and uncle Jack hunting at the shack, fishing when he could and never passed up an opportunity to go for a motorcycle ride. Family and friends were very important to Al and he always tried to visit with them when he could. Al was a carpenter by trade, he took pride in everything he built including his beautiful home. If you were lucky enough to have Al build something for you you knew it was built with love. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the staff of CancerCare Manitoba at Health Sciences Centre, especially Dr. R. Kumar, Tamara and Kevin who felt like family. To the staff of GD6 Health Sciences Centre, your loving care and compassion for Al during his many stays were truly appreciated, you were his family away from home. In keeping with Allen's wishes a funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Prairie Rose Evangelical Mennonite Church, Highway 210, Landmark, MB with viewing one hour prior to the service. Everyone leaves footprints in your memory but the ones that leave footprints in heart are the ones you truly remember. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU & CO. I'm so sorry for your loss Cheryl and Family. Although I never got the chance to say hi to you, I had the pleasure to get to know Al on D6. Often we would take our walks together, talking about our lives off of D6 and our current TV show binges. He was a great guy and our walks together were a high point on those days. - Posted by: Chris (D6 friend) on: Oct 20, 2014
