Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA DMYTERKO (HIEBERT) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Dmyterko (Hiebert), age 81, at the Seven Oaks General Hospital on October 19, 2014. Eva is survived by her brother John Funk; sons Larry (Marlene), Ron (Holly), and Roger; daughters Angela (Rick), and Valerie (Tony) Penner; their father John Hiebert; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Eva was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and enjoyed growing up in a number of small towns throughout her early years. Eva was forever the adventurer. Whether it was hairdressing or travelling to Ontario and Bissett to cook. Eva took on each venture with humour and determination. In 1980, she was fortunate to have found herself in Bissett, Manitoba (thank you Uncle Ed and Aunt Josie) where she made her home until her retirement and eventual move to Selkirk. Eva was a wonderfully gifted and talented woman. She loved to paint, renovate, sculpt and played a multitude of instruments. Eva also loved volunteering. Mom loved life to the fullest and we invite you to help us celebrate her life on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Selkirk United Church, 202 McLean Avenue, Selkirk Manitoba. A viewing will be held prior to the service. Our family would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to the staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital for the great care provided. EVA DMYTERKO (HIEBERT) Peacefully, on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Eva Dmyterko, aged 81 years of Selkirk passed away. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Selkirk United Church at 11:00 a.m. Full obituary to follow in Wednesday's paper.
