Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER STANLEY LINT Walter died at his residence October 7, 2014 aged 99 years. Walter grew up in Winnipeg and married Betty Sloan. They had three boys, David (Winnipeg), Donald (Brandon) and Gordon (Abbottsford) and their families. Walter taught science at River Heights Junior High for 35 years. He was passionate about and involved for many years with the Bird River Bible Camp ministry. A Memorial Service for Walter will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grant Memorial Church Fellowship Hall, 877 Wilkes Avenue. Mr. Link was my home room teacher at River Heights from '72 to '73. He was a great educator and a kind man. I'm glad to see that he was a Christian too - makes sense! Thank you Mr. Lint.
