TARA LYNNE ROSS (nee RAAFLAUB) December 1, 1975 October 18, 2014 It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our Tara Lynne Ross on October 18, 2014 at the age of 38 years. Peacefully, surrounded by her family Tara left this world after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be forever missed by her husband Edward Ross of 12 years, her two sons Damien and Cody who were her everything, mother-in-law Cookie Semko, Tara's sister Tammy who was her dearest friend, father Ed Jones, stepfather Ken Delaney and Tara's niece and nephew Taylor and Michael, whom she thought the world of. She also leaves to mourn her aunts Patricia Lynne Raaflaub, Lori Hilton (Tim), uncle Brian Douglas Raaflaub (Franca), her cousin Michelle Cornborough (Jeff), her dear friend Gerry Brisson, brothers-in-law Edmond Ross (Terri Denali) and Phil Herie, sister-in-law Lorraine Senk (Brian) as well as, the Romund family with whom she held all very dear to her heart and many nieces and nephews. Tara was predeceased by her mother Kim Delaney and sister-in-law Pauline Klapschinsky. Tara cherished deeply the many loving memories and friendships she made over her life. Her love for her family was her greatest treasure. Tara had a passion for drawing which over the years became a gift. Her love of bingo was known to all and the beautiful friendships she made at St. Peter and Paul's Parish in St. Boniface. Our family would like to say thank you to the CancerCare ward at St. Boniface Hospital as well as Health Sciences Centre. A special thank you to Dr. McClure, Dr. Keeper, Chelsea and the entire palliative care staff on the 8th floor of St. Boniface Hospital for the unbelievable love and care you gave Tara and our family. You truly are the unsung heroes. We wish to thank our family and friends for the endless love and support. Tara knew each day how lucky she was to have you all in her life. Kind, caring, funny, smart Alec comments all in one. Your strength during your battle with cancer amazed me. Always strong, always positive. Always told you I wished I was as strong as you. • Tara was just what you'd want in a friend. We shared our deepest secrets, gossip, laughter and love for Pepsi a lot. It was an absoulte pleasure to have Tara in my life for the past few years Tara was what I imagined a sister would be like had I grown up with one. Miss you girlfriend. • Tara and I shared a teasing friendship over at the bingo hall, teasing about how the hall would let anybody in and she would call me brat and other fun comments were fired back and forth. I feel for her family at this time but i am also happy for Tara that she has been released from pain, for this reason no one can truly wish her back. I feel very much for her family, time will heal some of the pain but in a lot of ways it will never end until you all meet again . Healing hugs to you all. - Posted by: Sherry Hinchliffe (acquaintance from St. Peter and Paul bingo hall ) on: Oct 23, 2014
