Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJARED JAMES DAOUST It is with deeply shattered hearts that we announce the passing of Jared James Daoust on October 21, 2014, at the age of 25 years. Jared will be missed and forever loved by his parents Leslie Flynn (Claude Lambert), Mike Daoust (Michelle Farina), and his only brother Aaron Daoust. Jared is also survived by his grandparents, Jim and Helene Flynn and Marie Daoust, his step-grandmother Liz Daoust, his aunts, uncles and cousins: Terry Flynn (Angela Meyer) and their children Erica and Kyle; Louis Daoust and children Vaughn and Patrick; Jeannine (Louis) Roy and son Andre; Linda (Les) Branconnier and their children Jesse, Lonny and Lindsey. He is also survived by many extended family, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather Pierre Daoust and step-grandfather Albert Wilson. Jared was born on August 17, 1989, we were so very proud of our beautiful son, three years later on September 2, 1992, Jared's little brother Aaron joined our family. The boys were best friends from day one and took so much pride in their relationship. Jared attended Ecole Julie-Riel and graduated in 2007 from College Jeanne-Sauve. Jared played baseball, soccer, took swimming and diving lessons and skateboarded like a champ. He had a natural talent for the keyboard and guitar and was a phenomenal self-taught rapper, he loved our many camping trips, especially to Rushing River. Jared also loved his time at our family cottage at Moth Lake, where he met many wonderful friends and developed his water sport, hunting, trampolining and fishing skills. He was employed at the Extra Foods Gas Bar and took great pride in his work and his close relationship with his boss Lynn. Jared had a wonderful and close relationship with both his mom and dad. Our bond was unbreakable and our hearts are broken. Leslie, Mike and Aaron would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jared's friend and roommate Aime Decorby and also his dear friend Derique Trudeau. We would also like to thank Dr. K. Gallagher, Dr. K. O'Keeffe and Paola Dubeil for their care and concern over the years, the officers of the Winnipeg Police Service who handled a difficult task with the utmost gentleness, as well as our families, friends and neighbours for their support during this difficult time. A memorial service celebrating Jared's life will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at The Gates on Roblin, 6945 Roblin Blvd., Headingley, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Jared may be made to the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society or a charity of one's choice. Leslie, it's been years since we last saw each other. My Mom mentioned that she ran into you earlier this week, and shared your news. I am so very sorry about the loss of your son. I cannot imagine how devastating this must have been (and must still be) on you and your entire family. Please accept my deepest sympathies. I was also very saddened to learn of your father's recent passing. He was a lovely person and I hope he is resting peacefully. My thoughts are with you. - Posted by: Diane Harri (Childhood friend) on: May 01, 2015

We are so saddened by your news. I cannot imagine how terrible this must be for you three. Breanne, Matthew JM and I always looked so forward to weekends and holidays at the lake, summer and winter, where we could hang out. We will cherish the memories of the kids playing together, cooking for Breanne and Jared's allergies, having bonfires and going for walks together. Since we moved to Seattle we miss your friendship and we are sorry we cannot be there to support you.
