CLINTON RUSSELL BRADLEY On the morning of Thursday, October 23, 2014, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle, Clinton Russell Bradley, passed away at the age of 78. Clint was predeceased by his brother Barry, his mother Hazel and his father Jasper (aka Jim). Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Beth (nee Wilson), daughter Shannon and sons Brant (Shari) and Bruce Bishop, as well as seven grandchildren: Kelly, Terri (Peter), Kendall, Brandon, Taylor, Sarah and Brooke, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Born 12:19 a.m. on January 1, 1936, Clint was the second baby born in the New Year in Winnipeg and his picture was on the front page of the newspaper on the first day of his life. Clint grew up in St. Vital and lived on the Red River on Kingston Row, where he learned to swim. He made many lifelong friends in his childhood. Clint was a good hockey player and referee and had the opportunity to play professional hockey in Europe, but chose his work career instead. Clint's first job after graduating high school was with Bulloch's Ltd., where his hard work and tenacity soon had him moving up the management ladder. Bulloch's was eventually bought up by Inter-City Gas and Clint became the National Sales Manager. Clint and Beth's paths crossed in 1968 and after a whirlwind romance, they were married and our two families became one. Clint always stayed in good shape and was the referee in chief of the GWMHA for a number of years in the 1970s. Clint was an excellent water skier and lover of all outdoor activities, including golf, a trait he certainly instilled and encouraged in his children. He loved the cottage and cottage life, beginning with his parent's cottage at Clearwater Bay, to the cottage down at Pointe du Bois. Clint began the tradition of the giant bonfires on the lake beginning in 1970 to ring in the New Year (and his birthday), a tradition that continued unbroken until ringing in the new Millennium in 2000. He loved snowmobiling, cross country skiing and they were Jets season ticket holders. Clint and Beth were great partiers with their friends when they lived on Danbury Bay. The children would bang on the floor in the middle of the night to turn the music down! They loved their yard and pool and Clint and Beth had the kind of yard that Better Homes and Gardens loved to photograph. He sure loved life, as anyone who has ever known him can attest. His work career finished as the National General Manager for Fiat products and many of those friendships endure to this day, long after his retirement. Clint and Beth enjoyed many years of retirement as snowbirds in Harlingen, Texas and made many close friendships with other winter Texans in their 20 plus years down south. Clint was an avid hunter and had a very close group of hunting friends that attended the "Lodge" every fall near Oakburn, Manitoba. As he grew older, Clint transitioned to hunting with his sons and the tradition lived on until his last time down there this fall where he spent time with his sons and good friends at "One Wing Way" for the final time. Anyone that has ever known Clint knows what kind of planner and organizer he was. In keeping with Clint's pre-planned wishes, there will be no service, just a gathering of close family and friends for a celebration of his life! He was our coach in sports, our cheerleader and mentor in life and was sought out by not only his family, but his friends and work colleagues for counsel about all things relating to life in general. A tremendous void has been left with his passing, a void that is hard to imagine can be filled by anyone. Your counsel will be sorely missed by all that have ever known you. Thank you for being who you were and thank you for our lives. We love you and already miss you!

I was very fortunate to have Clint hire me at Bulloch's and he along with the many GREAT people who worked there made this the most important and fun job I have ever had. Clint's tutored me in how to be the best possible sales person I could be and any success I had in my business I owe to what he taught me.Always fondly remembered. red hutmacher - Posted by: red hutmacher (business associate and mentor ) on: Oct 29, 2014

Clint My Uncle, my memories Ski dooing at the lake The yellow machine The large tobaggon Stand on the back and off we would go. If you where cold to the front to get warm. We cherish those moments even though they are far Then summer would come and the spraying machine cover your drinks Sit quiet and dream. He carried his suitcase with liquor and boozes always knowing he had medicine to use. If a barbeque was planned you would surley find him dressed in apron and hat. He cooked for my wedding So I should know. It's a memory of proudness I show. So when our live's must end Surely we have memories that live within. Love you and miss you but, know in my heart we will certainly meet again. A reason, a season a Lifetime My Uncle You were a lifetime And I was blessed Love your niece Cheryl - Posted by: Cheryl MacKay (Neice) on: Oct 25, 2014

When i think of memories of living or visiting in Winnipeg there is no question that going to Auntie Beth and Uncle Clint's house is close to the top of the list. Swimming in the pool and begging Uncle Clint to do a cannon ball or playing pool in the basement Uncle Clint always made time for us kids. All thoughts and memories of him just put a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart. Lots of love to all of the failmy, and even more great memories that will live the rest of our lives. xo - Posted by: James Hill (Great Nephew) on: Oct 25, 2014
