Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANGELE GOBIN (nee GISIGER) January 3, 1926 October 23, 2014 It is with extreme sadness that I announce the passing of my mother Angèle Gobin. She passed away on October 23, 2014 at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 88 years. My precious Maman you will always be lovingly thought of and deeply missed each and every day. No words can ever explain the never ending love I have for you. Angèle is lovingly remembered by her daughter Carole (Peter) Christle, her granddaughters Sara and Stephanie Christle. Also, her son-in-law Kevin Dokken. Angèle is survived by her brothers Luc (Lucille) Gisiger, Jean (Jean) Gisiger and her sister Hélène Grégoire. Angèle was predeceased by the love of her life husband Antoine Gobin and her daughter who she treasured Viviane Dokken. They both always said how great their love was for you. She was also predeceased by her two sisters Elise (Alexis) Richard and Marguerite Gisiger and her brother Joe (Yvonne) Gisiger. Angèle spent most of her entire career in management of the printing department at St. Boniface Hospital. After raising her children, Angèle returned working at the reception desk in the nursing residence at St. Boniface Hospital on a part-time basis. When she retired, she enjoyed going on many winter vacations with her family to the Southern States. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. with viewing at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Anne's Road. Viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. and a eulogy will be said at 1:15 p.m. Burial will take place at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
