• My Grandma, Margaret Hurst, married Clint's Grandpa, Alfred Hurst. I was raised by my grandparents and I have such wonderful memories of Clint coming over and watching hockey with my grandpa Alf! They would both get so excited and their shouts could be heard throughout the house. Clint was indeed a gentle, kind soul. He used to walk over to our house on Bruce Avenue almost every weekend, at least through hockey season. My condolences to his mom, my Aunt Hilda and family. I miss my Canadian family. • Hard-working, diligent, loyal, dear to our hearts. Clint always tried to do his best. He was without malice, just quietly going about his business. Despite his limitations, Clint achieved more than he realized. He taught our children that not everyone is the same, but they bring their own special gifts and are so worthy of our love. The care given by Cecil, Hilda, Glen and Doug was such a great example of self-sacrifice, true love, patience and strength of character. We so enjoyed all the holiday and celebratory dinners with Clint and he so enjoyed all the yummy food!
