IRENE BOROS September 18, 1942 - October 13, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Irene, wife and mother, after a short but valiant battle with cancer and suffering a stroke, at the age of 72 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Joseph, son Anton, and sister Ibi. She was predeceased by her parents, Joszef and Jelena Szalma, two brothers, Tibi and Joszka. Irene was a very generous, caring and loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She enjoyed going to socials and when she was younger, sewing and occasionally going fishing. She was always willing to give but she rarely wanted things for herself. We lost her too soon, but will keep her alive in our hearts and in our thoughts. Thank you to Dr. Tunji Fatoye and all the wonderful caregivers at Seven Oaks General Hospital In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. An informal celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Winnipeg, MB.
