Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • I grew up with Lou. He went by Ivars back then in Toronto. I was just sitting here thinking about people I knew all those many years ago and thought I would see if I could find anything on the Internet about Lou. I was so sad to hear the news. Back in the day, I spent as much time at his house as my own and vice versa. We went to the same school, and spent our teenage years together getting into all kinds of trouble, we even discovered the joys of a certain herb together. I cannot believe that it's been 45 years. Rest easy old friend. - Posted by: john zvanitajs (friend) on: Jan 20, 2015

  • I met Lou about 25 years ago and we became friends. He told me he grew up in a small town in southern Ontario...perhaps you heard of it? TORONTO!!! This was one of his favorite sayings and he was THE King of the one liners. Went on many fishing trips and the times we spent in my ice fishing shack together. Lou will be missed by everyone he knew.
