Dear Ron and Pat, I was so very sorry to hear of Uncle Orv's passing. He and Auntie Geraldine were always so gracious and kind to both Allan and I. Allan always enjoyed going over to the house when he was doing his Ontario territory to have a few beer with Uncle Orv, a swim in the pool if it was summer and of course a good visit. I know you will miss him however I hope the many good memories that you have will comfort in the days ahead. Love Laura - Posted by: LAURA FURNIVAL (NIECE BY MARRIAGE) on: Nov 10, 2014

Carol and I are very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We have been away and just noticed the obituary today and were so sad. Uncle Orv was so very special to us and although we moved away to Alberta your dear Mom and Dad made the trip out to visit us in their motor home and we have such wonderful memories of all the fun we had here. Mom Vokey loved your parents so much and shared so many funny stories of their special times together. We send our love to you all. - Posted by: Ken and Carol Vokey (Nephew ) on: Nov 04, 2014

Orval and I worked at Imperial Oil and were transferred to Fort William at the same time. Orval was my best friend. We spent time fishing and visiting each other's families. After I moved to Nova Scotia. Orval and I kept in touch and had numerous family visits back and forth over the years. In our latter years we kept in touch by phone, always reminiscing about old times we enjoyed together. We will miss Orval. Our deepest sympathy to the family, Love, Robert and Sandra Wournell - Posted by: Rrobert and Sandra Wournell (Very good friend for many years) on: Oct 29, 2014
