To Leanne and family, I was deeply saddened to read of the passing of your Mom in today's Free Press. Faye and I grew up together in Eriksdale and we were inseparable friends from the time that Dot and Nelson moved to our small town. Faye and I enjoyed walking the rail-lines, riding the buttermilk truck to the farms and playing in the stockyards behind their home near the railway. We had so many good times and I regret that we didn't keep our friendship up after we both left Eriksdale. I was also very close to your grandparents, Dot and Nelson as I was at their home as much as I was at home. Dot also worked in our store,Hallson's General Store.I am the same age as your Mom Leanne and I find it very hard to believe she is gone.
