NORMAN JOSEPH HARRISON November 11, 1934 - October 26, 2014 It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce, with his family by his side, the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather (Pops). Norm leaves to mourn his wife of 54 years, Verna, his daughters Vicky (Brad), Kim (Kerry) and son Derrick; and also the pride of his life, his grandchildren Jenna, Hailey, Rianna, Parker, Carys and Beau. He also leaves to mourn his sister Rita (Dennis) and numerous nieces and nephews. Norm was predeceased by his parents George and Delphine and sisters Irene, Dolores and Leona. Dad grew up in Woodridge, MB where he developed his love for the outdoors and baseball. He was a hardworking self-employed truck driver for many years who provided a very comfortable life for his family. Whether a Mack or Kenworth, his trucks always sparkled. Dad's garage door was always open and he welcomed anyone in. He enjoyed a good chat with whoever came along. Dad was loved by everyone. His wisdom and positive outlook on life was respected and sought out by many. A very special thank you to Dr. A. Mihalchuk and the 3A staff at Concordia Hospital. In keeping with Dad's wishes, there will be no funeral service. If friends wish, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Until we meet again!
