EUNICE MARY KELLS Eunice Mary Kells passed away while in Palliative Care at Riverview Health Centre on October 27, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Corsham, Wiltshire, England, in 1932 to the late Arthur and Elsie Hampton. She is survived by her husband Brian, daughters Madeline and Elaine, son-in-law David, and relatives in Alberta and in England. Eunice trained to be a registered nurse in England, working in Bath, Leicester, Northampton and Bristol. She came to Canada in 1957, eventually working at the Women's Pavilion at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Eunice and Brian Kells were introduced to each other by mutual friends, Gerhard and Traudel Labies, and were married in 1966. In a few years two lovely daughters completed their family. Aside from her family, tennis, outdoor life, music, sewing and reading claimed her interest and participation. Eunice was so grateful for all of the friends she made during her active life; they are welcome to reminisce and enjoy refreshments at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivary Boulevard at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, November 2. Cremation will have taken place by that time. Friends wishing to, may give in remembrance of her to the charity of their choosing. Heartfelt thanks from Eunice and her family to the wonderful staff at 3E, at Riverview Health Centre for their kind and considerate care.
