MARIE THERESE (TERRY) VANDERSTEEN (nee DELHAYE) October 5, 1928 - October 24, 2014 It is with deep sadness and many loving memories that the family of Therese announce her peaceful passing. Leaving to remember her is her loving husband Tim, of 63 years; daughters Lorna (Rick) Kirkpatrick, Donna Bluhm; son Denton (Brenda); grandchildren David (Janet) Bluhm, Tammy (Ryan) Hanke, Serena and Kirk; great-grandchildren Dalyce and Addison Hanke; her sister Alma; nieces and nephews and close friends. Mom was a lady of many talents but family came first. She would spend countless hours knitting and sewing for her family. Many family dinners were enjoyed, followed by a game of cards. She also enjoyed bowling with Dad, and the many trips they had taken together, along with family gatherings. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
