Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN KOZAK It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine Kozak (nee Villeseche), on September 17, 2014. Jean passed away suddenly following a brief illness, with her family by her side. Jean was born August 6, 1927 in Norembaga, ON to Blandine and Etienne Villeseche, the third of eight children. Jean grew up in northern ON. She met Paul and they were married in August 1950. They raised their family in Fort Whyte, MB. Jean was an active volunteer leader in the Oak Bluff 4-H Club, sharing her skill in baking, sewing, knitting, and many other handicrafts. She had a variety of jobs through her life, including a satisfying career as a braille transcriber with the Department of Education. Physically active through her life, she continued to walk regularly until her recent illness. Jean enjoyed working on the weekly crossword in the Saturday paper, playing card games with her family, and watching the football games on TV. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her children Debra (Jim), Cindy (Jim), Sandra (Lyle), David and grandchildren Andrew (Nikita) and Kristen (Thomas). She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1997. The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and staff at Grace Hospital -Third Floor South who cared for Jean during her illness. At Jean's request, no formal service was held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Jean's memory would be appreciated.
