GORDON H. BAILEY August 3, 1930 - October 21, 2014 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gord at the age of 84, at Misericordia Hospital in Winnipeg. Left to mourn, his wife of 23 years, Lilian; sister Doris and nephews of Vancouver; son Paul (Terri); daughter Allison (Rich) Pagett; grandchildren Conner, William and Mackenzie; step children Chuck (Orleane) Clarkson, Ed (Vicki) Clarkson; step grandchildren, Amanda (Fabian), Chucky (Ashley), Amy; and great granddaughter Londyn. He will also be remembered by friends Gord and Marg, Roy of Calgary and former wife Wynn Bailey of Calgary. Gord was in the dry cleaning and laundry equipment industry for 57 years before retiring from Prairie Distributors Inc., Calgary in 2005. He made lasting friendships with customers over the years. He enjoyed golf, curling, camping, road trips while living in Winnipeg, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. After retiring in 2005, he lived in Okotoks, AB for a few years, then moved back to Winnipeg in 2010. Thanks to the nurses and staff at Cornish 2 for their help and support in caring for Gord. In keeping with Gord's wishes there will be no service but a private service will be held at Green Acres at a later date.
