DOREEN LASKO It is with great sadness we announce the death of Doreen O. Lasko on October 27, 2014 at the age of 75 . Doreen will be greatly missed by her husband of 53 years Raymond, and her daughters Dianne (Kevin) of Calgary and Raegan of Winnipeg. She also leaves two grandchildren Rhiannon and Sagan, numerous nieces and one nephew. Doreen was predeceased by her parents William and Polly Ann Fedyn, and sisters Ruth Hepner and Elsie Walker. Born in Winnipeg, Doreen spent her early childhood in Portage la Prairie. Her family then moved to Transcona where she finished her education and married Raymond on July 15, 1961. In 1992 Ray and Doreen moved to Medicine Hat, AB where she created an oasis with her love of gardening. The family would like to thank her care givers at the Medicine Hat Hospital and especially St. Joseph's Home for all their compassion and help they provided. If desired, memorial tributes can be made in her name to St. Joseph's Home Palliative Care, 156 - 3rd Street NE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 5M1. A private interment will be held at a later date.
