OSCAR KOWCH It is with sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Oscar Douglas Kowch on October 25, 2014. Oscar was born and raised in Lake Francis, MB, where he spent most of his life. He moved to Winnipeg in 1999 where he worked as a truck driver until he retired in March 2013. Upon retirement Oscar moved back to the Interlake. Oscar leaves to mourn his three children Warren, Kathleen (Leonard), Bryan (Angie), and daughter by choice Melissa (Trever), grandchildren Jeremy, Marc, and Sandy, sister Thelma (Manfred), and brothers by choice Gary (Jackie), Wayne (Miriam), Glen (Maria), Gerald (Pat). Predeceased by wife Joyce, brothers and sister Barry, Oliver (Rose), Maisie (Dave), and parents John and Freda Kowch. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue, Thursday November 6 at 10:30 a.m. with service to follow at 11:30 a.m., Heritage Park Temple, 825 School Road. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Salvation Army.

Dear Family Members, Our deepest sympathy to all of you on your loss. I went to school with Oscar at Lake Francis until I was approx 13 yrs old. I always will remember him as a fun loving boy with lots of energy. May God be your source of strength at this time.
